I got a super 16g w/ o2 housing tonight for dirt cheap, w/ the elbow needed to install on a 2g. So I'm thinking those numbers will be presented on a super 16g if I can get what I need to install it :)

everyone is saying it "seems" to be a perfect match, im sure you can go bigger with no probs, look at me, im running an evo on a side mount... thats gotta say somethin :p

You're right, all I've got is an e316G. might as well put my side mount back on

:p j/k bro

From my experiance with it, I think it can handle more than what our evo3s are pumping. I guess we'll know for sure when Adams 50 trim get's here.

check out this intercooler i bought from ebay and got yesterday. its very nice, big, and is setup exactly for our 1gs cars, with how the inlets face straight back towards the motor around the radiator. making for easy install and shortest route intercooler pipeing. im installing mine soon and compareing it to the charged air frount mount kit i have now, which is exactly like the adfx intercooler with the inlets both facing the passenger side, this now makeing for alot less pipeing and bigger better flowing core. ive been able to run 21 psis on my current setup with 93 gas and my 50 trim, but noticed it spooled a bit slower compared to my old dejon upgraded smic. so looking for even more effientcy and faster spool, and looks way better. for 280 its a great deal i think. ill post back with results and good compareisons.

Looks good, I finished my entire project for as much as that intercooler is shipped, but looks decent.

are you getting the 6 or 8' core? How much of the support has to be cut with the 6' if any at all?

Thanks!

its 11 inches the one i got, the 6 probably none at all. mine not much either. its not to thick, mabby 2 3/4

sorry i was talking about the other one i posted about just a couple replys ago that i bought, with the ebay link

THE CORE IS 11 INCHES TALL AND 26" LONG

:D I got my flange in the mail and welded on now. now I just have to paint that pipe and put the clear coats on the rest and I'm ready for installation :D

btw I'm fresh outa funds so f*k the 16g, that'll come later LOL.

Anyone who's install this fmic yet had any problems with overheating while idling? or just overheating in general? I'm installing my fmic after I get some sleep.

My EVO III comes in tomorrow, once I put it on I'll let you know. It might be awhile, I gotta get a day off work.

No overheating issues here... and i live in texas and its been close to the 80's here a few days... will see when summer hits.

Ok guys I feel stupid. I've got this front bumper off, and I removed that huge black pos that was covering my radiator. How the hell do I get this front mount on? This is a first for me so pls deal with it LOL. I've got 4 screws that came on the fmic to attach to the 4 plates that came w/ it, but what do I use to screw it to the car? :( Darnit.. I guess I shoulda asked this earlier.

That huge black pos is your bumper support keep it and just cut it.. As far as mounting it look back in the posts and there should be some pictures. But put one bolt in the center where the hood latch is cant miss it... Also, move the powersteering behind the rad support bar... And for the two bottom brackets i drilled 2 holes in the metal bar that runs infront of the rad and used a self threading bolt to hold the brack it on. So, you have one bolt in the center on top and the two on each side on the bottom. And get ready to cut the shiz out of your bumper :0

The black pos I described covered the radiator and is plastic, my bumper support is white/faded whiteish. The powersteering your talking about are those 2 metal lines that are in my way? LOL How should I move those (IE: anything holding them on)? I thought I'd break them if I moved them.

Yea, mine was black guess they are different on the 95... There should be a bolt holding that bracket and a small tac weld... i took off the bolt and broke the weld and just shove them back there... dont worry about breaking them wont happen... i tried to bend them pretty good and they didnt break. As those two metal lines are for the powersteering.

I just got a bunch of self tapping ss screws and a drill bit so I'm gonna try to drill a bunch of holes for my brackets.. its too cold now to do it, so for the night I have a faceless car. LOL i hope nothing rusts :| The cons of living 2 blocks from the beach/ocean

Good luck.. mounting is pretty easy the piping was a pain... Also becareful about the bolts that came with it.. I broke 2 of them in the intercooler... easy to get out but just replace those bolts they are pretty shitty.

My bolts broke from overtightening them. It was hard for me to tell how much to screw the bolt in. My FMIC is held up with just that one bolt and it's supported the weight fine.

Back in my install pics, there should be some of where I mounted the brackets before I installed the IC. Maybe that will help.

CAUTION: if you replace the bolts with anything longer than the ones they come with, be extremly careful when tightening them. Tyrus told me the only reason he doesn't send stronger screws is he can't get the same size and anything longer can possible crack the core if you tourqe them down. Just be careful ;)
