Yea,everything on ebay looks fishy to me.LOL

I am looking at an OBX interccoler right now from ebay, and it has many a' inner turbulator. Looks like a good core to me, worth the 300$ my buddie payed for it.

ok thats great and all, but this thread is about the jrc intercooler which is over 100 dollars cheaper, and no one has any complaints so far :thumb:
 
So... has anyone got track or dyno numbers yet...?
 
someone said that JRC's shop is in butler PA. if so does anybody have teh phone # or adress.. i live close enough so i dont need to pay for shipping LOL :thumb:
 
But then you might have to pay taxes? Oh wait.. PA doesn't have sales tax does it? :thumb:
 
Unfortunatley PA has a 6% sales tax.. Oh well though.. Im orderin the JRC end of this week! :thumb:

I didn't pay any shipping fees. The cost included shipping.
 
So does anyone of you who now have this Intercooler have install pics for a 1g? :)

LOL, I didn't go. :( I've got a new born and finals next week so I haven't had a lot of time. I still want to go this month but we'll see. I have been doing some more tuning and I've taken another %10 fuel away up top and I'm at 19psi. I'll go for an even 20 and see if I can sneak any more fuel out on pump. Not bad for California 91oct hamster piss :D
 
Sounds like your tuning is going well. I have mine mounted and I am in the process of making my pipes. I am just about done then I have to send them off to get beaded and powdercoated. I will post some pics once everything is done.
 
Here are a few pics of the install and my EVO III Big16g Rotated 180* to point down like a 20g. Pipes should be done in the next few weeks. They will be powdercoated red :D

I've got 550's in the car, I will get some data from dsm link once the car is running again.

Do me a favor and post what your IDC is a with the lbs/min and everything else. There's always huge arguments over what size injectors you can get away with with certain turbos but it's useless unless you know the actual amount of air going into the engine. It'd be nice to have a reference :thumb:
 
will do but just to let you know I have buschur racing 550's and the dsm link allows you to backward calculate your injectors actual flow from the global fuel adjustment. And this formula tells me that my injectors are acutally flowing only 505 cc's :thumbdown

IDC was around 80% with 18psi before so we will see but I am guessing that I will max em out pretty quick.
 
So what your saying is that the 550's you got actully came out to be 505cc's injectors?
 
That is what I am saying. I spoke to Buschur and they said that they are rated at 550 cc's at 43psi of fuel pressure. I am running a walbro 255 without an afpr so I am hoping that when I get one I can correct this and get the propper flow. Or else it looks like I will be looking for some 660's pretty soon :thumbdown
