Just wanted to give a quick update and more pictures. I got the engine home and in the garage and on the engine stand. I then pulled the exhaust and intake mani off. I also started to pull apart the head and the front of the engine. I would be farther however the head bolts seem to require an inverted type of tool. I have never taken one of these apart before so when I saw it I was like
but oh well I will just have to pick it back up next week on my days off. Here are pics for your viewing pleasure.
By the way if anyone has any points/tips/concerns please let me know.
I guess I have reached my quota on the forum so it wont let me post any more but here are links. Also if you guys could look at the pictures and let me know if you think the engine has been rebuilt in the near past like the guy told me it was. Also anyone know the specific on the tool I need to take the head bolts out?
