JDM EVO 1 RS exhaust manifold>1G DSM manifold?

I am wondering if the JDM EVO 1 RS exhaust manifold is any different than the 1G unit.

My EVO 1 RS motor sprung a massive exhaust leak under the hood and I am thinking that the manifold is cracked, however, I know the JDM EVO III units are much stronger... Not too sure about the EVO 1 unit so I'd love some input.

You mise well just go with the E3 manifold, or since were in the states the 2g manifold ported...2g manifold being easier to find and a dime a dozen.

Thats what I would choose.But possibly you blew a gasket form manifold to turbo..So make sure you look at that, when you replace the manifold.
