I know it's 2023 and these questions are still being asked, but looking around on the forum, the question of Evo 1 & 2 still hasn't been concretely answered.

I have what I'm fairly certain is an Evo 1 or 2 exhaust manifold, which both share part number MD187529. The manifold has "529" cast onto it, and looks the same as the original manifold I took off my Evo 1. Yes, it's cracked and probably junk.

My manifold is definitely not an Evo 3 exhaust manifold, which has visual differences. The following is an Evo 3 manifold, which is also cracked at the divider, funny enough (so much for the supposed longevity of better materials).

The Evo 1/2 manifold has a 60ish mm flange (the photo perspective doesn't accurately show the measurements, but it's 60mm).

This Evo 1/2 manifold necks down to 54mm on the step-down, as that diameter matches the 54mm DSM-style gasket. Notably, the Evo 1 and Evo 3 both use the MD171220 gasket.

These measurements appear to match the Evo 3's 60mm outlet flange, and the Evo 3 also has the inner step that people hog out to match the 60mm. I can't really any difference in runners from photos alone. Aside from that, can we say that the Evo 1-3 manifolds are all equivalent out of the box and in terms of ultimate potential?
