I think I'm going to name my cart mayhem. So it's been awhile since I have have posted an update on here, so I figured while I wait for a tour truck now would be a perfect time to update. Since the last time I updated this blog, I have replaced the passenger side axle, put in my full blown motorsports dual pump in tank sending unit, gone through two transfer cases, two alternators, and a yoke on the driveshaft. Today diving the car to work so I coils take it to the auto hobby shop tomorrow and put on the new exhaust, I was doing a pull and felt something not so right, when I pulled the car over I saw something I didn't expect to see.

The only thing that I can think of that caused this is a lack of bolts on the transfer case. :banghead: oh well lesson learned, and I have a spare at my friends house. I have decided to call this build Project Mayhem.

If it were my only means of transportation I probably would be LOL, but with this car I just go with the flow with it, I expect things to break.

wow LOL that iand is amazing! and as for getting pissed off, what is done is done.

Damn Ive seen a few break were the slave is bolted but never there, congratulations? maybe

I cant tell in the pic, but does the flywheel and tcase have rub marks? Im asking cause I cant tell in the pic, but do you have the bolt that secures the back of the tranny to the block? This bolt is only 8mm, vs 10mm for the other three. I ask because if this bolt isnt installed, the other three bolts will work their way loose to the point where, when youre pushing in the clutch (especially heavy pp clutches like ACT 2600) the transmission will push away from the block, causing the tcase to contact the flywheel, and also causing severe stress to the bell housing, block, and tcase. Ive seen it before, broken bell housings, tcases, even the "ear" on the front of the block can break off. First and foremost, inspect the tcase and flywheel for signs of contact, and then check the top two and front tranny to block bolts to see if theyre loose!!

Sucks when something breaks because you effed up instead of just plain part failure.

Damn!! Was that Redline Shockproof:tease: Ive been lucky with the tcase thing. The only one I had fail just ate the teeth off the gears, which, IMO, is much better than locking up at highway speed or just plain grenading. Did the casing fragments cause any damage to anything else?
