I bought a Holset Hx40 off a member here. Well, in the process of him removing the o2 housing (which was also included) he cross threaded 2 bolts. Perhaps he had another housing on there than the one he sent me cause I would have left it on there and called it a day.
My question is....is this BEP housing serviceable?
I know 1 of the holes can be re-tapped. The other however, I am assuming I can drill the hole back and do the same for the housing. Perhaps I can do that and just use a bolt/nut combo.
Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the turbo.
