how good is the Garrett T04B V-Trim Turbocharger from bullseye racing? it states it flows 48lbs a min, see ill be honest my t-25 took a sh!t, and now i am looking for a turbo, and i plan on getting 300ish hp, and i am good for it, and i really dont want to be maxing anything out on my car at that power, and i dont want to spend money on another factory turbo until i get all my supporting mods, i will get larger turbo for 300ish hp and run it low until i get the fuel wich should be reall soon, but is this turbo any good? i need to get my car running any way really soon so any advice would help. thank you. And for those of you who dont like spending money twice! i understand! so please understand my situation.

If 300 is all that you're looking for Evo3 16g would be more than enough with much better spool.

Well when there are posts like this...

I used the Vtrim. I had to get rid of it because it would surge on my built 6 bolt at only 18psi while other people running stock motors were pulling almost 400whp which was really odd to me. In the end i went for the t04b 50trim and haven't looked back ever since. According to dave the vtrim is not a very forgiving turbo because of the map. Its up to you which one you want but i would just get the 50trim since its tried and true. As for how much boost you can run on 550's i would stop around 17-18psi if that just watch your duty cycles and make sure you don't hit 100%
...in threads like this, along with other endless discussion about Bullseye stuff, I hope you can formulate a good opinion for yourself. Take note at what I specifically set in bold print in the above quote; "dave" is referring to Dave Hall, the Bullseye guy. Whenever I decide to work on my car, I will hit 300 whp on race gas with the 14B so you should not have any problem hitting that mark with the Evo 3 16G as oldman suggessted.

I really appreciate all the help, i have searched and it was probably silly for me to post the thread due to all the talk on this turbo, but i wanted to buy one turbo and thats it, i didn't want to waste my money twice and since i was looking for a 320 whp base i figured this t04b turbo might be some help, Well once again any comments are greatly appreciated.
And my setup obviously is not for anything greater than a 14b but my setup is not going to stay like that for long, and since i need a turbo urgent i figured spend the money right.
