IS this normal?

So I'm driving on the highway anywhere from 40-70 and when I slow down my engine revs higher before it slows down? Whats the deal with that?

Can you explain in a Little more detail?

1.Is the car auto or manual?
2.If manual, did you downshift to slow down?
3.how high of a rev/rpm's?

take foot off gas before shifting?
cruise control on and set?
throttle body flapper stickng?
throttle cable sticking?

Automatic, slowly pushing on the gas then vrrrrmmmmmmm then it will come back down

Go with him^. Check your throttle cable, make sure nothing is sticking.

Mine will do that with the a/c on. Only about 500 rpm though.
