Is there a way to temporarily raise my car?

I have an 95 GST that needs to be emission tested but it's too low to go on the dyno.
I like how it looks right now so I want to raise it a few inches just to get thru testing.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Have them use boards to help it get on the dyno?

If not, then you'll have to swap out suspension parts (springs) to raise it, unless you have coilovers that allow you to adjust ride height.

When you go to get all alignment, getting on dyno, these guys should allready know to use boards to get the vehicle on..Sounds like there rookies at this place, or old tymers.

Or possibly dumb,One of the three choices.

the guy i use to do all my inspections and exhuast work has boards ready when i come in.. he knows most of the cars i bring him are lowered and wont "legally" pass emissions.

Exact reason I live in Ohio. I hate inspection.

They have the type of rollers where you pull up then the middle bar drops down. I guess when the bar goes down they say it is too low to be safe.
So I guess I'll check around craigslist for some stock springs to throw on it.

Can you pass emissions with no front bumper?
You could pull it off just to get on it.

take it somewhere else or put a larger diameter tire on both front tires.. your only other option would be to put adjustable collars on the front.

I didn't think to ask if it was the pan they were worried about or the bumper.
The bigger tires idea should work if I can find some that will fit. I wonder if my Scion wheels will fit?

Scion lug pattern is 5x100 you would have to by an adapter.

there are spacers that twist into your springs to raise and stiffen your suspension sold at most auto stores. put a few in there for the test and then remove when your done.

That sounds pretty good. Since it's only for the test I think I'll give it a shot.
