Is there a way to tell TRE transmission?

I was wondering if there is a way to tell if TRE has done anything (rebuild etc...) to a transmission.

Do they:

-stamp it
-sticker
-tag it

etc...


The car I'm looking at supposedly has a TRE rebuilt transmission, but has no reciepts. Said it was that way when he bought it. he didn't mention a stage so it made me a little more skeptical...

Just wondering if there is anything special I should look for or should notice if say it had been rebuilt by them.

Going to have too follow this thread. Would not be happy if i bought a "built," trans and it was stock
