My question is the above, I can't get an answer from search sorry
Is because i bought a FMIC w/piping but it didn't come with the TB elbow and I'm using a 3" GM MAF. So i but everything together but the 2g TB elbow seems to short for a GMmaf (to close to the TB), I'm using dsmlink with the gm cable.

Hmmm yeah I will I soon I get home but there's no gap the couplers fit just fine my concern is that the 2g stock TB elbow looks to short and the GM MAF is rubbing with the battery. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. Still I really don't care if it rubs with the battery my main question is if somebody else is running the stock 2g tb elbow with gm maf and if it's safe to tune cause of the length of the elbow. Thank you

I dont see any reason why not, although i have read that it should be a few inches from the TB. Your setup should be fine i just would make sure it doesnt rub on your battery too bad like you previously stated..

I have a 2g TB elbow with a GM maf coupled straight to it, just used a 3"-2.5" reducer coupler I got from the parts store and had to cut a 2.5" coupler down so it was half as long and used it as a spacer to take up the extra gap because the tb elbow is only 2.25" and my 2.5" tbolt clamp bottoms out without the extra coupler in there.

Just finish mine, i did a test drive (no WOT) works great. So yeah thanks guys definitely works...
