2g TB Elbow on 1990

Would I have to "gasket match" anything or get a new gasket if I were to get a 2g TB elbow for a 1990 tsi? BTW this will be used with a blow thru GM MAFT setup with possibly 2.5" UIC pipe.

If I have to gasket match or buy a new gasket, what gasket would I need to fit a 2g TB elbow on a 1990 tsi TB? (2g gasket? 1g gasket?)

You should always use a new gasket on things of that nature. I used a 1g TB gasket on mine there isn't any real gasket matching nessary though.

Alright, so is the 2G TB elbow 2.25"? Im making custom blow through IC pipes, so I need the size of all of them.

I think so far:

-GM MAF-3" both sides
-UIC pipe-3"
-2g TB elbow-2.25" (?)

So if I made a 3" UIC pipe I wouldnt need a silicone "reducer", I would just need a straight coupler and then a 3" to 2.25" (?) for the TB elbow connection to the MAF.

Correct. It really does help the flow on a 1G, but the only thing I don't like is that the hole is the same size all the way through as on a 1G TB elbow it is the same size as the TB itself at the back.
