Hey dudes, got a 90 gsx putting on a Punishment short route fmic kit and with the cruise control box on a 1990 (which at this point I don't want to get to ripping out) this 2.5 inch throttle body elbow that came in the kit is about 8 inches long and instead of being about an 80 degree bend from the tb, it comes out at about a 45. Being 8 inches long it runs right into the cruise box and it almost clips the front corner of my battery along the way.
It also goes straight out rather than pointing kind of downward toward the intercooler like I see most people's pics of theirs on their 1g kits. Would a sillicone 90 degree elbow (2.5 to 3 inch for a direct connection to my 3 inch gm mas) work well? I could cut the pipe off my elbow from punishment and leave like an inch coming straight off the flange and make a bead for the 90 coupler to clamp to and I could spin the coupler downwards so it points toward the intercooler instead of going straight out
