Those cast aluminum endtanks will work great. There is an explanation on the benefits of these endtanks on www.DVDTFAB.com. Great website and great fabrication work by a part time fabricator / engineering student. Check it out. :dsm:
I remember when that guy first designed that kit. For some reason nobody seemed too interested in it.
Anyway, I think SF made that kit after they dropped the ADFX kit. They were a bunch of problems with ADFX and decided to make their own. It looks to be the same design as the ADFX. Anyway, depending on their price that'll be a good choice.

yoooooooooooooo,

what is up brudas.

We are indeed releasing the kit soon. The core is a bar and plate core and it does feature cast aluminum end tanks. The reason we went cast is because we have been guaranteed they will not blow open and you get 99.9% consistency with everyone. Also the piping is all aluminum and 2.5". We had the best experience with this type of setup.

It is roughly based off of the popular ADFX kit but under our control not the ####nuts that were running that. Quality is top notch and we are shooting for roughly $900 shipped for the kit with 4 ply couplers, aluminum 2.5" piping and the core. oh, a aluminum TB elbow will also be included. Install isn't bad and we will be including step by step photo instructions for the install.

I can't believe i didn't see this thread. thanks eric for pointing it out.

We are hoping to release it within the next 2 weeks or so.

Thanks to all of the support. We sincerely appreciate it.

p.s. also, the cast end tanks makes turn around much faster. there is no waiting for end tanks to be welded up. :thumb:

Yeah adfx had gotten to the point where it was impossible to get any product from them. The buschur kit is nice as well, but they dont weld on a bov flange for you. You cant get a jpipe stuff like that. Being able to have the kit the way i needed it is the main reason i didnt buy from buschur. Don't get me wrong. I love buschur products, but this kit just wast feasible for me since I dont have the ability to weld and dont have the facility to do so.

On the other hand we got this kit. Stuff looks top notch. I remember way back when marty was first telling me about the kit. I've been excited ever since. LOL! I knew it was going to be a special product. Those cast end tanks are gonna help flow a lot. Versus the air hitting all kinds of wierd angles as on the slowboyracing kit and some of the others with fabricated aluminum endtanks made from sheetmetal.

Way to go marty and the guys at speedfactor. I can't wait to have this thing on my car!!!! :D

Will that price include t-bolt clamps? Do you retain the stock foglights? Will you offer a MAF-T option?

yes to them all my friend. the kit will include SS t-bolts, you can retain stock 2bg fog lights and yes it comes with a MAF-T option. :rocks:

Can't wait to see it completed. Sounds beautiful.

I dont know who had told you that you cant get your cbv flange welded on but that is totally false. You just have to send it in to us and specify where you want it and we can do that for you no problem. As for jpipes we have those here you have to ask for them, they have not made it to the website yet.

Special plumbing is required for 16g and t28 turbochargers though.

Yeah let us know, I REAAAALY want one of these, this is the best deal going on right now!

hey folks, we finished up all the fitment and all. we are still a little off with our brackets but that is no biggie. i am waiting for the rest of the piping to be done and we will have these ready to go. I got mine on with my new turbo (custom t3/t4 from PTE) and i can say i am very happy with it. I'll try to get some temp data up soon for you all to see.

thanks to everyone for all of there support. I assure you the wait is worth it.

So are we gonna get a awesome Group Buy going on like we did with the bullseye turbos from you guys? That'd be nice! I can name about 5 people already willing to put the money down for it!

i would be more than happy to talk to you more about that. shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] it's funny because we only made about 20 for the first batch and from the threads and e-mails i have gotten i am going to need like 50 off the bat. LOL.

So is it Marti or Martin? Regardless, it looks like a very nice kit. I went with the DV/DT Fab kit mostly because of the cast end tanks, so I can verify first hand that cast is the way to go. Probably the reason that "nobody seemed too interested in it" is that it's quite pricey. Quality is top-notch, though.

LOL, my name is actually Martin (Marteen) but my friends and customers seem to be to lazy to finish with the N so i have kind of been deemed Marti. LOL.

We are very happy with the cast end tanks. makes for great quality consistancy.

FWIW, I'm running the 2G Hahn FMIC and I like it. It's not a short route, but that doesn't really help either way IMO. Also, the car didn't run any hotter than before the FMIC. Performance wise, it doesn't heak soak and it cools down whatever I have thrown at it. The construction is really good too, nice and sturdy fins. I also kept my stock fogs, take a look in my pics gallery. I can't give a detailed improvement over my supra smic because I upgraded other parts along w/ the IC. But, I'm completely satisfied with it, if that counts for anything.

Bullseye and I buy the cores from the same guy. It is a great core. Ours will be different as it will come with T-bolts, Polished Aluminum Piping, and different mounting points.

We should have it available as a kit very soon.

Thanks

Marti

I seriously cant wait for the kit. It is gonna be so great. I'm all smiles. Kit is gonna be excellent!!!! Keep up the good work marti!! :thumb:

no, the core and end tanks will be the same. we buy them from a good friend of ours in good old middle america. ;)

We will be offering a kit though as i mentioned above and all the goodies needed for it to be PERFECT.

Hey Speed Factor and Bullseye, Do you have any plans to see if the IC fits the 2Gb Talons?

apparently marti also had a talon shell that i was going to BUY from him. all we were waiting on was him to get the title. i recently found out he GAVE it to someone else. which also isnt suprising. thanks again speedfactor :thumb:

I have also tried emailing them and IM about the fmic and nothing, and from reading that im that he had with eric, somethings is fishey

honestly we haven't had the time to really finish up the kit. We have ben swamped and are working on a move as we speak. The new shop will have the facilities to really finish these up. Sorry for the long wait guys but we don't want to put a product out that isn't 100%. This is why we have NOT TAKEN ANY MONEY FROM ANYONE.
