installing aeromotive fuel pressure regulator on 2g dsm

Hey so i bought a aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and i don't know if this is the right way to hook it up im going to try to upload a picture of my set up if i did it the wrong way can some one help me ? the first time i did it the gauge wouldnt read but now it will read but i don't know if i did it right can some one please help me ! this is on a 1995 talon 2g tsi awd

Installed the aeromotive fpr today along with the walbro 255 and some fic 1250s.Adjusted injector settings on ecmlink to compensate. Idles normally with the afr hovering between 14.7 and 15 but the problem is the fuel pressure gauge stays at 20 psi regardless of playing with the adjuster screw.Turning off the car the pressure bleeds off almost instantly.

I'm thinking that the fuel pump o-ring spacer and top weren't done right and it's not sealing like it should so I will take a look at that,but does anyone else have any ideas of what it could be?

I had a small crack in the little plastic top hat thing on the fuel pump. This caused the pressure to bleed off after being shut down, and would cause long starts. Sounds like your oring got pinched or top hat is cracked and is leaking and not allowing good pressure. Are you adjusting with the vac line off?

Vac line off for adjustment,no change at all in pressure, yea I'm leaning towards the fuel pump install.

Took the pump out and the spacer was missing ,replaced it and fuel pressure is back to normal.
