Thanks, actually there was no kit, i just found it in a wrecked talon at the junkyard and removed it myself there, total cost was 20$ cdn. for the fram/glass and 3$cdn for a tube of sealant.
It was just a simple transplant so i wasn't too worried that it wouldn't work out.
Hard?,..noway, if you have a sawzall, dremel, jigsaw or die-grinder (whatever will cut the hole), philips screwdriver, a utility knife and a caulking gun, your good as gold.
Throw in about 4 hours and you can enjoy the sunroof.

Thanks again for the comps, if anyone wants to try and wants more info,..let me know.
Matt

That's pretty rad, took some guts. Can you completely remove the glass? My friend's Porsche can do that, it's sweet.

Thanks, i am guessing it is stock, maybe there was a difference in the 90' to 91-94 version because there were a few other cars there with the same frame (w/o glass). My manual also desceibes the optional sunroof exactly like i have, i have seen the recessed sunroofs also though. Yes the glass pops right out by unlatching the front 2 clamps and disconnecting the main scissor clamp. i also fount the factory wind deflector for cruising when the glass is removed.
I didn't have the time or feel it was absolutly nessesary to reinforce when installing, but if it somehow becomes a problem later on, it's no big deal for me to dismantle and fix. The "donor" car i removed from had nothing for bracing anyway.

im SO against "aftermarket" sunroofs i hate em  mine leaks so much cause hte last retard to drive this car installed it wrong it also leaks in between the rubber and glass when its closed....i solved that problem (hopefully) with alot of siliconey stuff

I need some help identifying what car exactly this type of sunroof comes from as I'm missing one of the front hinges. Every pic I've seen is a different type than this one....
Impressive...:thumb:

:| That doesn't really help, didn't bump a 6 year old thread to say it looks good. I need a part # or if anyone has one please let me know. Thanks
