I got a 90 talon its stock right now.the car runs fine with the stock computer.i hooked up the ecmlink, set up everything right(i believe) and now it likes to stall once and a while.i can drive around town no problems but when i drive down the highway and push in the clutch and let it coast it stalls. it will fire up right away and continue to try and stall if i don't hit the gas a bit.
you can say it's vacuum leaks but the stock computer works fine.i don't know
please help:banghead:

Sorry this is a trial run i will get a log tomorrow if this works for me
this log i had a problem with the idling and yes there are a lot of extras on here

Went for a drive today
I really hope this works
if not i need HELP

According to your profile, you have FIC 850 injectors, yet your settings in your Fuel tab show 0% global and 60 µsec of deadtime. Following this reference page for starting points, you should have -47% global and 330 µsec of deadtime.
baseinjectordata [ECMTuning - wiki]

I would probably say to zero out your fuel and timing sliders as well and just start over. You can get a good sense of how to learn to tune by watching these videos.

I turn off the disable idle switch when moving
and it got better but it still tries to stall. it goes down close to 400rpm but it picks up and doesn't stall right out.
still needs a little fixing

ok thats what i did the first time thinking the same way as you.
then i started doing the things that the ecm videos said to do.
now i am stuck

I can tell by looking at the log that you got it all messed up so start over. Turn off Antilag, return the timing adjustments back to 0, set the fuel adjustments back to zero and 0 deadtime, tun off Enable TPS adjustments, Disable idle switch while moving, and Simulate idle switch from TPS.

Then start logging ISCPosition. If you haven't adjusted the BISS with DSMLink set to 950 RPM Idle then set the idle speed back to 750. If you car won't run right with the baseline settings and works with a stock ECU then something is wrong, perhaps with the EPROM ECU.

ok I did what you said
check it out
the 1st one that ends in 03 is where it stalled
the others are just driving around. the one that ends in 05 i had gone down the highway came to the set of lights and it stayed running like it should!!???

pull up the 05 log and link it up to the car. right click on the log itself and hit maf comp adjust. when it pulls up the maf comp page hit use template then save to the ecu. fire it up and see how it idles.

So what I see is that the car is still idling high, That the IPS doesn't seem to be switching when the throttle is opened consistently, the ISC idle count is high and doesn't seem to be tracking the throttle opening very well, and it looks like your getting a misfires at idle or the O2 sensor is sluggish.

I'm not sure what's causing the AFRatioEst to be so noisy.

Do you have the throttle body grounded? Normally there is a brass strap from one of the bolts into the intake manifold to the screw on the top of the throttle body that grounds it to the intake manifold and the IM is grounded to the chassis with a strap or wire to the firewall.

Are you using a 90 ISC?

On the RPM/TPS page select Enable idle switch operation so that the actual IPS is used.
You can log the TPS and other sensors with the car not running, Run through the TPS range, then start it and let it idle. Log it until the car enters closed loop and you see the O2voltage start switching.

Will do doubleclutch
Steve i do have the little ground on the top of the throttle plate I have to check for the ground to the firewall I am pretty sure the throttle body is from a 1990....there is a chance is isn't tho
I will go and give these a try.
Thanks

Just enabling the idle switch operation in DSMLink and logging the IdleSw Pin will make it clear if it's working correctly. The logs you've posted so far make it look like it's intermittent. It should switch from one state to the other right as you open or close the throttle.

I have been trying some things i put a stock MAF on put some 850 injectors in.And still i haven't fix the stalling issues.(the injectors got tried cause i had them)
I reset everything set up the combft and did a maf adjustment.
What do you think i could try?

YAY I got one problem fixed.
I had the horn taken off the air can so i figured that i'd put the stock one back on and try blocking the hole letting cold air reach the can.And it solved the stalling problem.but it still has a crappy idle,I have noticed that it has a ex leak between the head and manifold. Could this cause the bad idle?

Run a log of it at idle fully warmed up. don't forget to log maf raw, combined ft, idle switch indicator, airflow per rev, and the closed loop indicator. then we should be able to help nail down the problem.

Doubleclutch have you had a chance to look??
I would love some feed back
Sorry I jumped the gun there Double clutch had pm'd me.Thanks again!

Just went for a ride check this out.
Could my engine have a bad hole?
Check how long it takes to get into closed loop.Is this normal?

Did you end up getting all of the boost leaks fixed? the tune in the log looks good in random spots at idle. makes me think boost leak and a bad fiav in the throttle body. some times it idles good and looks stable at 850 rpms with 0%on the tps then further in the log tps reads 0% and its idling at 2500 rpms .
