--input needed-- magnus smim and big16g

I may put a magnus smim street on my big16g car. I'm wondering if the gains would be worth it with the big16g, 3" exhaust, punishment fmic, and 650 injectors that im using for my setup. Are there any DYNO PROOF of this SMIM on a 16g Car ??

My car is at Magnus right now for most of the mods listed in my profile. I didn't opt for the SMIM this time around, but Magnus says its good for a bolton 20HP with tuning.

There isn't really any dyno proof on most SMIM's since you have to account tuning. The SMIM allow a better airflow so the more air you push through them the more gains you will recieve. You must tune the car to utilize all the benefits of the new intake, otherwise you won't be seeing much of a gain just by slapping it on. Plus they help more up top than they do down low so expect to lose a good bit of torque but gain a bunch of power in the top end.

if you plan on using it as a street car i would just use the 16g... makes plenty of power for a dd and it spools very quickly

I do have a 16g already on the car with the stock 1g intake manifold. I was asking if there is any proof from dyno sheets that this magnus smim street is actually worth the install with my turbo setup.

I have a JMF race manifold with my evo III 16g, but everything else on the car is build to handle a GT35r turbo. I'm trying to push the 16g into the 420+hp range on E-85, and then I'll switch to a bigger turbo. If your staying with the 16g you probally don't need SMIM. The 16g doesn't flow enough up top to really take advantage of one.
