Ok so I've been trying to learn all the necessary things to get for my car. However, after buying this...I learned this is the last thing I needed to buy...LOL. Reguardless...I have it sitting uninstalled. Reason being is when I went to install it, I noticed several hoses coming out my stock intake manifold that arent on the magnus. For instance, the hose that comes off the BOV and into the intake mani is non existant. I did notice on the back of the magnus were 4 screw holes. Am I supposed to buy adapters for the hoses? If so, what kind and where should I look? Will this bolt up to my stock throttle body?

I consider this a hard lesson learned. I royally fkd up buying this before I got all my fact straight. I suppose the price was too good to pass up LOL.

Thanks guys!

Edit: Oh right. My car is a 97 eclipse gst.

Snce theres no place for the EGR, you wont be able to keep your emissions.. so alot of those vacuum hoses wont be needed anymore...

One the back, the four hoses that you connect are
*BOV
*Brake Booster
*Fuel Pressure Regulator
*PCV

You can buy something like this if you need extra nipples

Those hole should be something like 1/8"npt. You should be able to buy barbs for those at any local hardware store. Your BOV will get one port, the FPR on another. You'll end up eliminating the ERG. Your throttle body should bolt up to it.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

On the other hand, you could sell the SMIM and buy parts that you need at this stage.

EDIT: Ahhhh beat me... I knew I forgot a few.

I am in the process of installing mine right now, and if your a total newb, this isnt a beginner job you want to just jump into without have basic knowledge about your car. It is fairly quick to get your old IM out, and the new one on, but thats about it, then comes the hard part. Moving parts to new places, hacking your IC pipe, new battery or move the battery. Good luck, if you have any questions, let me know, I just got done working on mine, gonna have some pics up later this week or next.
