Hey. so my #1 injector clip got the wires pulled out i have heard that it doesnt matter the order, but if your looking in the engine bay. the red with blue stripe is on the right side and the green on the left is how i have it. im looking to find a pig tail for the injector clip. my question is! are all the Eclipse or talon 90-99 have the same injector clip? turbo or non turbo? if someone knows a place i can get one of these please PM me. my wires pulled out, and then i lost the clip:banghead: just my day. i have a 99 GSX and i am trying to find out if its worth checking out the pick N pull. they have a bunch of 2g DSMs but i have no clue if they are turbo or not as the only way to inquire at the pick n pull is online now.

Edit: my guess is that the 420A injector clips are NOT the same. nor are the 1g ones.

The 90-99 clips are interchangeable. The 90-94 are clips with metal retaining pins and the 95-99 are the quick release clips where you just squeeze both ends to remove it. You can also find them in galants and diamante models also. The g4 series hyundai motors also share the same 1g style clips.

Not possitive about turbo to nonturbo
but a the turbo models Interchange with eachother
the 2gs have the little side squeezers that I prefer
1g have the wire retainers

All 1g turbo/non turbo are the same but the non turbo 2g clips wont work. I forgot to mention the dodge stealth and 3000gt clips work also. Although the 1g clips differ in style they WILL work.

all good info stated, yo can even find these quick release type plugs on the spyder gs.

i have 2 spare parts harnesses. i was going to say shoot me 5 bucks to cover the postage and i would send you a 1g style clip and 6 inches of wires for free.

The even better clips come out of late model dodge caravans and intrepids.

They have grey side clips and are better than the 2g ones with the orange side clips. Very easy to find at the junkyard.

do you guys have years for all these models? im going to call the junk yard wanna make it easy. so far i have basically any DSM in the 90s (meaning anything dodge chrystler mitsu) for that time period.

What ever ones you get, make sure they are the quick release clip ones and not the wire retainer clip ones. I hate those wire retainer clips LOL.

I ordered the one from extreme psi but i cant wait 5 days. Need to drive i need junkyard asap, I don't care about soldering LOL! :sneaky: I just need it to work cause i need to feed my boost addiction and the HX40 is whistling for me to boost 30psi and the motor wouldn't like that too much on 3 cylinders if ya know what i mean :)

good to know. the thing about the 420A clips are that one of the wires is thicker with a stripe and the other is thinner with no stripe. and the orentation of the striped wire is on the opisite side from the 4g63 clips. you have to splice the harness wire with stripe to the non stripped 420A clip LOL as long as the origional wire orentation matches its good! this is a good info thread who else had ideas? (resolved) but still

The 4g Fuel injectors I have seen are of the "Bosch" style.

With that being the case, you can grab a injecter plug from a Ford or chevy for all it matters, or any make that runs that style injector.

The wire colors will vary, but as far as fitting on the fuel injector and the plug fitting.. about any you come across in the JY will work....

Seen a shop cut a injector plug off a late 80's chevy truck and wired into a 200? jag....

As it has been pointed out above, the big diffreance is how they lock on the injector...

Thanks man, yeah i went to the junk yard and they had a 1g 1.8 and they had the metal retaining clips and i couldn't get it off. so i scurried over to a white 2g and snipped them out. still the plastic ones but what ever. they are the exact same as mine with the differences of wire orientation and thickness.
