You mean the little retainer clips the hold the plug to the injector? If so, I lost one of mine about a year and a half ago and never got around to replacing it! Its never fallen off, though I do check once in a while if I happen to be under the hood and its always nice and tight. I imagine it may be one of those mystical parts that only Satan carries though, so you may have to take a trip to the dealer.

I always seem to lose them. I wouldn't worry about it as I've been running for a long time without any of them.

i left mine out a long time ago when replacing my injectors cuz they were a pain in the butt to put back in place. they generally don't go anywhere but I wouldn't worry about it. if it really does bother you though, go to your local junk yard and i'm sure you could pull one off there. if you really can't find them though and want them, I still have mine (plus a few extras) so just shoot me up a pm and i might be able to send it to you.

If they're the C-clips, it wouldn't hurt to have them (the ones that lock the harness to the injector). If you're talking about the bigger metal clip, mine don't fit anymore and they're not really needed.

Check cars other than DSM's in the junk yards. Older Toyota's use that style injector plug IIRC.

You may be fine without them, you might not be. My friend's car always seemed to want to have an injector plug come off going down the race track or in a bad place. I'd suggest replacing them, or devising another way to keep that plug from coming off. You can even upgrade to the 2g style if you can find one in a yard, they are a little easier to work with and don't use that clip.

I wouldn't run without them. been there, done that. TPS plug came off and spent ten minutes staring at my engine bay. Hooked up DSMLink and found that it was unplugged.

Buy some, then you are sure it's on good and done right.
