Ignition Panel mounted on Headliner

More like rocket ship. I actually was on the highway the other day, and my car just lifted off the ground and flew into space. I raced the space shuttle around the earth:D

You need a bigger spoiler to provide some downforce ROFL

That is crazy. :tease:What do you think it is a airplane.
That would look cool.

An airplane actually requires an ignition key. At least for a Cessna 172 Skyhawk it uses one. The key keeps the magnetos spinning which keeps the plugs firing. It also controls which magneto to fire. Granted, it's not as simple as a car cause you have to turn on the fuel pump, push the mixture rod in for 3 seconds to flood the engine, pull it out, turn pump off. Then you turn the ignition till it catches on and push the mixture in full rich, adjust throttle to 1200 RPMs, lean the mixture rod out till the RPMs drop, two full turns in on the mixture for peak RPMs, then retard throttle to 1000 for idle speed. Be glad you don't have to do the same for a car.

That's cool, should look sweet. I'm still trying to figure out where to mount the switches for my anti-lag, flat shift and meth injection arming

There's a 4 unit box with a flat panel switch connected via flax cable, i saw it at autozone. it would fit the bill perfectly, but no one could tell me if the touch pad lights up or not.. it can do both power and ground or just pull to ground up to 20 amps per channel :)

I am going to try something I have always wanted to. I am going to buy an ignition panel off of ebay like this one:

eBay Motors: Push Button Ignition Switch Panel with 4 Accessories (item 140184569536 end time Dec-28-07 11:52:15 PST)

I am going to mount it by the sun-roof switch, and make it look good and clean. I got the idea when I saw this video:
I couple things; That is not that good of a deal on the panel. That's pretty much just an average price. Also, if you look at the panels offered by brand name companies (Allstar, Quickcar, Painless, etc...), you'll notice that they offer the assembly pre-wired and fused, and sometimes even offer lighted panels. If you're going to buy one of these types of panels, definitely spend some time and shop around.

Also, these require some depth. Between the back's of the switches and the wiring needed, I highly doubt you will be able to mount anything like this in the headliner.

PS - I can't view your video because my work blocks Youtube, so I'll check it out when I get home.
