Are you talking about recovering it, or replacing it completely. I’ve recovered a couple, not difficult at all. You just have to take your time. Best advice for the plastic clips is to use a trim or push pin removal tool, don’t just try to pry them out with a screwdriver or pull with pliers. Some of them will probably break anyway, we’re talking about 30 year old plastic at this point, but you can find replacements at auto parts stores that will work even if they’re not 100% exact. Just take your time, be gentle, and it will be fine.

i’m thinking of replacing it, the fabric is hanging and is only held up from the front and back of the ceiling where it’s tucked, i tried to use spray glue without removing it but it didn’t work that well so that’s why im considering replacing it

Look up some YouTube videos on recovering headliners. You pull it out, scrape off all the old fabric and glue and cover it with new fabric. It’s not hard to do and will look 100% brand new when you’re done.
