whats cause my car to idle high at a cold start? like 2700rpms. after it warms up idles fine.

Have you adjusted your biss?

2700 is a bit too high, about 700 too high.

Is your throttle cable sticking?

Did you test your ISC between the pins?

Is your throttle plate hanging up on anything?

It takes about 8 to 12 minutes to idle down, then that is you faulty part.

Don't go about replacing anything unless you've checked it's faulty for sure with a multimeter.

Like said above the ISC and/or BIss screw out of adjustment also the throttle plate hanging up
could be the FIAV or a Vacum leak also, the throttle linkage not adjusted right more likely the first few though

I had that problem before and I just adj. the cable behind the intake manifold there are two bolts.
