Idle Position Switch (IPS)....

Well, wondering if anybody here knows a good place to buy one of these switches at. I am totally missing this switch and probably resulting in some of my bad idle.

I have checked the normal autozone, advance auto parts and such but they don't even show it on their site unless they name it something else.

I would just buy one from someone here but I can't do a WTB.

your best bet would be to go right to the dealer on that one

Yeah we have another TSi in a local junkyard but they said it was pretty well stripped now. I will give the dealership a call Monday and first see if they know what the heck im talking about, and get the price for it.

Well I just got off the phone with the dealership, I am needing the Idle Position Switch but the dealership said its ALOT, I mean ALOT.

Can't do a WTB on this site, do any of you know how I could go about finding one of these without paying an arm and leg for it?

Tried local junkyards and no one has it

I got a price of $320 here in San Antonio from Lone Star Mitsubishi, Your local dealership is overpricing it.

correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't also called the throttle stop switch? $73.50 at Diamondstarmotorsport, $90 at MachV

Go back to the junkyard and see if they have any Hyundai 2.0 Elantras early to mid 90s. Same switch same engine.
