Well i figured since im in the middle of a blizzard now, i figured i would mess my idle a little bit. During cold start ups, my idle is amazing. If i sit and let the car warm up it will idle perfect, once i start driving, the idle will start to hang 1800 rpm. I also want to know how to mess with isc steps vs load (why does load only go to 40%) , and desired ISCV initial step. I have a lightweight flywheel and want to try to have the iac stay open a little when rpms drop. I am also confused on what drive means on a manual car. Some aid would be great.

If I remember right, you're using Ceddymods. I have a 95, 6 bolt swap, lightweight flywheel, mild cams... and my car was dying if I was cruising and just pushed in the clutch. I increased the idle rpm as well as played with the "Desired ISCV initial step position" in both the neutral and drive tables. If I am understanding these tables right, this is the position you want the ISC to be waiting in when you're cruising and press the clutch in at a given coolant temp. From there it'll adjust based on what you have your desired idle RPM at. I increased the value in the 82* ( my car was fully warmed up) columns on both the tables. Now if I am cruising or even getting into the skinny pedal and press in the clutch, it comes down and idles around 1300 while I am coasting. I'm still doing some testing and tweaking but you might want to try playing around with those 2 tables. I might be able to bring my idle RPM back down if I can get the car to idle higher initially when I press the clutch in due to the ISC motor being set at a greater value to initially let more air in. From there the ISC should adjust itself back to around 30 when it gets back down to my desired idle RPM. Does that make sense?
