IAC Problem??

Hey everyone ive got a 95 Talon TSI AWD and has the CEL on. I took it in to autozone to get it checked out and it said there was IAC malfunction and pointed me towards vac leaks or IAC failure. Now Vac leaks sounds like a lot easier of a fix but the car is sitting at around 16-17 inches of mercury at idle. Im not too sure what its supposed to be does that sound close?? Just trying to get that stupid little CEL to go away so any help is greatly appreciated.
