I think my fan is dying Ecm link only turns one on

So im sitting in my car right now I pushed activate fans on Ecm link only one comes on unless I physically push the passenger fan in the opposite direction also Im experincing some over heating issues but only while driving, is it time for a new fan or is this normal thanks in advance???

I'm not sure on a gsx but for my car the second fan only comes on when the a/c is engaged.

I don't know anything about how link works but check your fuses and check the voltage on the fan sensor. That should rule out if it's your car or link.

fuses check out tested all the ones in the engine bay except the switch underneath the radiator. That was my next step Im trying to situate the quickest way to test everything

yeah this a a brain f***, my passenger fan isn't comming at all only my driver side fan

With link you can enable both fans to be on high all the time. Go into link and connect to car. Now under the misc tab look for devices and diagnostics, its the first box you can check says activate fans full on. If both your fans don't turn on with this box checked than something is wrong. Also if you want to keep the fans full on just copy to ecu. This is also were you can turn the fuel pump on without starting the engine to check base fuel pressure if you have a gauge. And then the grounding ones are for checking base timing.

Hey thanks for the info much appreciated, so I found another fan for $20 at the junk yard I hooked it up and I activated both fans via ecmlink and found out that my old fan is not working so my problem was the stock fan the brushs are out on the motor hence why it will start by hand but not automatically anyways thanks for the input people now I have to figure out how to tune my car again

Yeah Im looking for a power steering resivor u happen to have one? ill pm you, And link makes a huge difference I like being able to activate different parts of my car to see if there checking out now its time for a tune and a coup[le more things and my car will be complete for now
