I know i have another post with this mentioned, but the title is mis-leading, so I'm making a new one...

Ok, just like the title sais, i need help tuning my car. Mods include...Walbro 255 (rewired), AFPR, 650's, FMIC, Eprom w/stage 3 chip, Evo Big16, Evo III Mani and 02 housing, 3" back from there..all the supporting mods i need to do what i want.

When i first put the car on the dyno, it only made like 180 AWHP at 18psi. Then once i got my datalogger working, it was showing 20-30 counts of knock, so i turned the boost way down to 13.5psi and finally got it tuned for no knock. A/F ratios set for mid 12's as boost hits, and down to the 11's up top with 10.8 at 6000 RPM. Right now i randomly get 1-3 counts of knock, some runs with none at all. Base timing is set at 5* BTDC with the plug grounded. At 13.5 psi the car made 211 AWHP. That suprised the hell out of me.

But now is where the problem starts...I turn the boost up to 15ish and all of a sudden all my knock comes right back, up to the 20's and up. I'm running 93 octane mobile gas in the car, and letting the car sit with the fans blowing on it to cool between runs.

I dont know what to do to solve this problem...some mentioned turning the base timing to 2-3*. I dont know if thats right or not. I'm also unsure if i need to re-do the high load setting in the SAFC, or if the ECU will automatically compensate for the increased airflow.

I really just need help, so if anyone could offer input, it would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Thanks :thumb:

Post some logs like GVR4592 mentioned, along with your current SAFC settings. Also, have you verified that your knock sensor is not leaking black goo? You can also raise your octane by adding some race gas to see if it's real knock or phantom knock.
