okay so i built my talon, with fresh new pistons, total seal rings, i had the head ported and polished, Si oversized valves, and hks 272 cams, garret t3/t4 turbo, OFP manifold, Tial wastegate and bov, custom catchcan, apexi turbo back exhaust, and other things, and i need a tune, because at around 5500 rpms, i run into fuel cut-off, so i put apexi safc 2 tuning on it, and as soon i put it on there my car run all crazy, it start delaying on throttle, my air/fuel gauge is stuck at like 17.2 which is lean but i smell fuel, and if i rev it up to around 5000 it fining comes off of 17.2.. i pulled the plugs, and 1 and 2 were whiteish, 3 and 4 were completely fouled out, i checked my injectors, and coils everything checks out fine, what is there to do? help me out guys:banghead:

So basically you just threw a bunch of performance parts into your car with no tuning sevice and expected it to run Fine?

thats exactly what i was planning. ? no. not to be mean but i planned to tune it and everything but i just finished the car and put a tune on it, and i put it on and was wondering why to throttle is going crazy

What "tune" did you put on it? Did you make your own tune or just throw a generic set on your safc?

Has the safc been tuned before? Is it installed right? Again all you did is throw parts at it without fixing anything. Probably made things worse.

So you expect his tune to work on your car? You need to go have someone tune for YOUR car.

no regulator, and what are you talkking about, i have the computer for my car, the apexi doesnt have the setting if you just disconnect it, ? it doesnt have a battery in it to save?

Not easier, just a ton more control over everything, you'll get a much better tune with it over s-afc anyday, just do your research and watch their demos and read a lot about it before you get it and you'll be ok...It seems intimidating at first because of everything you can control but once you start using it you'll get more confident...
