Well I was putting in my new high flow fuel filter and ss lines and I had to take off this piece, the rusty piece attached to the intake mani. Is that ok to remove????
anyways when I took the IC pipe off the intake mani I found this inside. How the hell did that get in there???

It will stay there. It will not go any lower or any higher when I try to adjust it. The idle also goes up and down. It will jump to like 1500r.p.m and then back down to 1000r.p.m. It will keep doing this as long as it runs.
I tryed lowering the idel and it stopped. The next day when I started the car it came back. What would be causing this???
, IAC(Idle Air Control) valve connecter, and its on you throttle body housing.
