How come alot of people dont give rep points for people when they help them or give them there advice? When i ask a question or for some info i give the rep points to them for helping me out but i am not no wiseman but i have given some people the info they have asked for. Im sorry for complaining but i would like to be and think i deserve to be a Proven Member not a new member that cant get into half this site. sorry for the complaint. Just thought i would ask.

Most likely because the newbies never read the forum rules and they dont know how to give rep points. Most likely the people you help out are noobs and they dont know how to give points

Discussion of new member status.

As mentioned, be patient. Contribute your experiences and help where you can.
Oh well i guess, i just wish evryone knew about the rep points and would give them where they are deserved. I am already planned to be patient. Just hope peolple will start giving the rep points that are deserved not just for me but for other dsm members.

Don't worry about it. I know it can be kind of disheartening at times when you help someone and get no recognition, but look at it like I do. Just imagine you are doing volunteer work and you get self gratification from helping someone else. Its better to give rather than receive.
