A friend of mine who owned 420a motor told me I should swap it to 6 bolts next time. What that mean to swap it out to 6 bolts? Tell me more about it and Please teach me. Im rookie .

6 bolt motor is the stronger motor of the two types found in 1g and 2g talons/eclipse/lasers. 6 bolt has larger intake ports on the head, stronger rods. The other type is the 7 bolt which is basically the opposite. 7 bolt motors are also prone to the crank "walkin it out" or crank-walk. There was plenty of reading you could have done, all the information I listed above was gathered from about 10minutes of reading I did when I first got my talon.

the number of bolts refers to the number of bolts on the flywheel.
