what type of turbo do you have? If it's like the one in the pic. you're right, you do just loosen all of the bolts pretty much all the way, turn it to where you need it and tighten the bolts back down. Some turbos' compressor housings are held in by a large snap ring, in which case you will need to get snap ring pliers and compress the ring spin the housing, and decompress the spring.

Sorry for posting the pic. When I read your original post, for some reason the pic didn't come up..Unless you just edited it in.

Anyways, yes you just need to loosen all of the bolts and spin the housing and tighten the bolts back down

uhhh you should probably find out what they get torqued to first

What I want to know is the reason that the compressor outlet is pointing up in the first place.

All compressor housings must be clocked different for every car anyways. It isn't like a 16g where everyone is clocked the same from the factory.

Just loosen the bolts then adjust it on the car where everything fits perfect, tighten a few down take it off the car and get them all tight.

You might even have to clock the center portion by loosening the exhaust housing bolts, this will make sure the oil drain fits correctly.

Yes, clock the turbo using the bolts at the compressor housing (like what it shows in the first pic).

You can also clock it with the bolts that hold it to the turbine housing. You just have to make sure to only make slight adjustments that way; and make sure the oil feed it still facing up and the drain is down.

What turbo is that in post #4? I'm just wondering who is selling the turbonetics coldside with a Bullseye turbine housing...... It looks good though. :thumb:

Paul, thats basically the turbo that I have. Exept mine has SBR's compressor cover other than T-netics. The CHRA and turbine housing both look the same as mine.
