how to turn off low washer fluid light?

So i emptied my washer tank and removed the hoses going to my hood nozzels since i only drive the car in nice weather and was looking to clean up the engine bay a little. Now this light on my dash wont go out. Is there a fuse i can remove or something? maybe turn it off with my dsmlink?

Just pop the gauge cluster out and remove the bulb. 6 screws and your done. Hope this helps.

It's just a switch in the bottle that is either normally-open or normally-closed. I vote to just wire the two ends of the harness together if it's on with the bottle removed and the harness unplugged.

Can't you just open trunk, lift the cargo floor, take out the spare and disconnect the washer fluid light sensor from the reservoir.

That's interesting since I pulled all my washer fluid crap a few years ago and no light came on, did you unplug every connector off of the harness in the hatch?

i haven't disconnected anything in the hatch. just emptied out the fluid and disconnected the hoses under the hood

Of course it's going to show low fluid then. Just unplug the low fluid switch in the bottom of the reservoir in the hatch and it will go away.

Isn't the reservoir in the trunk so how is that cleaning up your engine bay.

... the washer fluid runs to the squirters on the hood and the hoses look trashy.
