Window washer fluid dash light

Why does my window washer low fluid light come on when I'm driving? Seems to come on when I get into the gas a little hard. Anyone else ever had this happen?

No. Washer fluid is full. This is the weirdest thing I've ever encountered with a car. Just wired!

Maybe a sensor? I don't know. Maybe I'll just disconnect it totally.

The sensor may have a bad connection and certain angles or force on it is causing it to freak out. Seems like a good place to start looking.

Thanks. I'll have to look it up and see exactly where the wires come and go to.

Like it has been mentioned, check the connector. I have seen countless DSMs with corroded connectors for the resivoir. Clean it up and you should be good to go unless there's a physical problem with the wires.

If the connector looks fine and not corroded, you can make sure the prongs are making contact with each other. You might have to stick a small screwdriver or pick into the female end and bend some prongs slightly inwards.

I just removed the low sensor. It's the far left plug on the side of the fluid res.
Unplug it and no more annoying light. ( i run an empty washer res)
