well basically i ruined my boost controller so now i want to setup my tubo stock again. for exmple i just need to know where to connect the hoses. i know one goes from the intake manifold to the BOV but where does the other hoes go to. i would appreciated clear pictures because i still dont know everything by name. thanks.:dsm::dsm:

Well, you can either run your wastegate directly from a boost source or set up the stock BCS, as blkwidow suggested.

If you want to run your wastegate off a boost source, just run a vacuum line from the wastegate nipple to a nipple that sees boost (compressor housing, j pipe, licp, etc.).

If you want to connect the BCS again, one line goes from the BCS to the intake pipe and the other goes into a tee which splits between the wastegate nipple and the turbo (at least that's the way it looks from the Taboo diagram).

Glad I looked at this thread. I am in the process of putting my 2g back together and needed the vac diagram.
Why would you want to hook the bcs back up?

How did you previously have your mbc hooked up? You had to hook up one of the vacuum lines to a boost source (unless you teed into your bov line...). Yes, anything after the turbo on the way to the intercooler would see bo

I'm not sure what you mean by 2 nipples on the air filter. Do you mean the intake pipe?

Please fill in your profile and posting some pictures would be helpful as well.

im pretty sure my setup was wrong to begin with but what i had was a line going from the wastgae to a T Spliter. from there it went left to the BOV and right to the intake manifold. now i dont see a line going from the actual turbo just the wastegate. (that ###### explains why my boost gauge was always reading wierd numbers. now my j pipe has no nipples and on my filter, right after the filer the hose or pipe that connects the filter to the turbine or blades of the actual turbo has 2 nipples.

Well, you should have a boost source to use, whether you're hooking it back up like stock or even using an MBC. You could take off the j pipe and drill/tap it for a nipple to use. I'm not sure if using a line from the intake manifold would be ok, especially if you wanted to hook up an MBC. The shorter the lines, the better. There should be 3 smaller inputs on your intake pipe - a larger one for the charcoal canister, and then two smaller ones for the valve cover breather and the BCS. So as long as you have the other two hooked up, you can hook up one where the BCS hooked into.

can i setup it up like this: my air filter is connected to a pipe(plastic tube) that connects directly to the fans/turbing/opening/blades of the turbo. that plastic "tube" has a nipple on it, can i use that since the turbo is sucking in air through that pip(tube)

so if i dril a nipple into the j pip and connect the wastegate to that WITHOUT a boost controller how do i know how much boost is coming out of that line. are there any cons of doing it that way?

If you drill a hole in your j pipe and tap it (so it has threads), then just screw in a nipple. Make sure you tap the hole for the threads of the nipple. Then you can put some JB Weld around the nipple to make sure you don't have any air leaking out of the hole.

Yes, connecting the wastegate directly to that nipple would work just fine. The amount of boost you will run will be based off of the wastegate. As far as I know, there's no cons of doing this.

You can also build an mbc for around $10 if you'd like to control your boost.
