i have a 96 talon tsi. i want to stay stock ### i do not want anything to break this is my work car. so i was going to rebuild my turbo not by a new 1. the only mods on the car is a 3 in exhaust and tube header (ill post pics asap). i also plan on a 255 fuel pump and some kind of f/a computer (reflash or piggyback). im looking for 12-15 psi. i want to know if my turbo will spool properly with this exhaust and run good with the light mods?

Your stock turbo is weak. Anything more than 15psi for an extended period of time will murder it's poor thrust plate design causing immediate failure.

For what it's worth, you should consider upgrading to a 14B or Small 16G before you go too crazy with fuel mods and tuning devices. At this stage in the game, your money will be better-spent on a slightly larger and much more durable turbo for your car.
