2G how to remove this part from turbo (pics)

i am replacing my t25 turbo and i have everything off but this line which i belive its the oil line how do i get this thing off.

Use an open end wrench and turn a little at a time.

If you don't plan on reusing the line then you and cut the line so you can get a full socket over it but other then that an open wrench will work with so PB blaster

Use some pb blaster first and let it soak if its hard to come off.

That's an oil feed. Take a 7/8th open end wrench and take it off. unscrew the other screw holding it on to the turbo.

I have a spare if you break it and need one. When I took mine off I did it from the oil filter housing side and pulled it through. I believe there are one or two holding tabs on the block if I remember correctly. Good luck PB blaster is a must.

Pull the manifold and use a socket i do that everytime just spray pb on the mani bolts on the head

What turbo are you replacing the t25 with?

Just get a -4an braided line and be done with it. Extremepsi/STM /etc.. sell oil feed kits with appropriate adapters.

i ordered another t25 turbo from miller import parts for 250. Just for now im going to upgrade a little later.

Use Aerokroil as a penetrant. PB blaster is garbage. Most part stores sell it, it's in an orange aerosol can. Penetrates to 1 millionth of an inch. Has a "get the bolt loose guarantee"...

The stock oil feed is 2 pieces, it can be easier to disconnect it in the middle and remove the upper part with the turbo.
