Alright so I blew my turbo a week or so ago and I am installing a Big 16g But when I took my old oil drain line of the oil pan, the gasket is like sealed to the oil pan.

So my question is do i just leave it and add a new gasket with it on there or do I try to get it off. Im scared to scrape it because I dont want to get gasket material inside the oil pan itself and clog a oil line. Any body have suggestions how to get it off.

BTW Im doing swap in a parking lot at school so I dont have a jack or anything.

You really need to remove the old gasket. Try sticking a clean rag in the hole before you scrape the old gasket off. The rag will keep crap from falling into the pan. When you pull the rag out, it should pull any debris around the edges with it.

You need to get that gasket off of there before you put on the new one. If not you risk the chance of and oil leak. I'd recomend scraping it off, just be careful with it.

If you have enough room, a straight edge razor works good but you have to move slower. The rag idea is awesome too. That will prevent any old gasket making its way into the oil pan.
