Ok trying to remove the axle from the drivers side and this bolt is being a royal pain. its hooked to the lateral control arm. Was told to remove it so I can move the hub around inorder to get the axle out.

Anyone have any tips to get this dang thing out.

spray it down with penetrating oil. let it soak in. hit it with an impact gun.

I second that!. Use PB Blaster, wait a few hours and hit it with an impact or use a breaker bar to break it loose if space is an issue.

When I did mine I sprayed them the night before , waited about 20 minutes and then hit each bolt with a hammer on the end. Then Sprayed it again and used a breaker bar with the end of my jack handle attached to it to finally break it loose. Hitting it with the hamemr with send vibrations through the bolt sort of freeing it up a bit and letting the PB blaster soak through.

Yeah I soaked it with pb blaster I got the nut off but getting the bolt itself out its like it is binding up some where and wont allow it to slide out.

It is likely seized into the sleeve in the control arm. You will have to cut the bolt inside the spots where it bolts to the subframe, or just undo the ball joint instead.

try to get some pressure off that control arm(use a jack or something) then wedge a flat head screwdriver in between the head of the bolt and what it is stuck to. then hit the screw driver with a hammer and it will provide a better leverage point to get that bolt outta there

Since you got the nut off you can try wrenching the bolt to help free it from the sleeve in the bushing and its probably rust "welded" to the subframe sleeve as well. Does it rotate? If its as bad as mine was when I did my last suspension job it finally came out after trying to wrench it, lube it, heat it, beat it, lube, heat, and repeat. PITA! If you have an air hammer then peen the threaded end so the air hammer point won't slip off and hit it with the air hammer. Good luck and we are there with yah brother.

Nope no rotating at all. I tried to hit it with a electric impact and it won't move. I I am going to remove the ball joint I think I am going to wait and get the remover tomorrow I will keep you post.

Thanks for all the tips You guys Rock.

Removing the ball joint would be the best option at this point. I had the same issue with the front bolt in the lower lateral arm. Those bolt get seized up in the bushings. I tried everything to get mine off and it would not budge. I ended up tearing the bushing while wrenching on it with a breaker bar.

I am replacing the cv joint on my 97 spyder gst and i got past this point but i am having the same issue with the main bolt that goes through the center of the rotors. I believe this is the end of the cv joint/axle. The whole unit if free to move so i can get it out but it is fused in there...it was a bi*** to get the 32 mm nut off but eventually i got it. But now i cant get the bolt out of there...i sprayed it with pb, hit a hundred times....anything else i can do to break this free??

Help.

use a gear puller to push the axle through the hub

You will likely have to pull the spindle off and separate the axle from the outer cut than cut the cup off. You will have to replace the wheel hub assembly and axle.

I used an angle grinder and grinded it off, Didnt even wanna deal with the labor and potential pain of trying.
