hey my serpentine belt just slipped off yesterday on the way back from school and i lost my powersteering. could anyone tell me how to put it back on? its a 1998 eclipse gs

Your serpentine belt fell off or the belt that drives the power steering pump slipped off? One is major work, one isn't.

i think its the one for the powersteering because everything else works fine except for that

The AC/Power Steering belt isn't hard to put back on. There are two bolts that control the belt tension (don't remember exactly where they are but it shouldn't be hard to find if you look around the area). Loosen them up and work the belt back on according to the diagrams in the post above. Get the bolts nice and tight so it doesn't happen again.

Might want to check the condition of the belt while it's off to see if it needs replaced.
