I have a 95 Eclipse GSX with a 6bolt swap, and 3" turbo back exhaust. I also have ECMLINK V3

I was wondering how do I hook the LC-1 to the ECU to log it ?

Also do I need to keep the down stream 02 if I dont have a cat anymore if I connect the wideband to the ecu ?

Some guidance is needed

Brown - ECU Pin 75
Red - Accessory power supply
Blue + white - Grounded using same crimp ring
Yellow - not used unless you have a DB gauge
Black - wired up to push button switch and LED per instructions


No, the rear o2 sensor is not needed anymore, especially since you will be using it's wire to feed the ECU the wideband signal.
 
I'm am susposed to install the wideband aprox 18 inches from the turbo at an angle, so do I just leave the rear 02 in without it connected and weld in a new bung. Then use the brown wire and connect it to the singal wire previously used by the stock rear 02.

Also I do have a DB gauge.
 
You can install the wideband in the rear o2 bung if you'd like. Or you can leave it in there and weld a new bung in. If you weld a new one in, it would preferably go in front of the flex section. Forget about the 'distance from the turbo' rule, as it doesn't apply anymore with people replacing their front o2 with a wideband.

And for the DB gauge, you have 2 options.
1. Split the brown wire to feed both the gauge and ECU.
2. Use the yellow wire to feed the gauge. This requires using LM Programmer to reprogram the output range on the yellow wire (analog 1) as it's set to 0-1v for narrowband simulation from the factory. If you choose this method, use the version of LM Programmer I put here, as the newer versions don't work.

Question.
Ive been looking around and I dont understand why you hook up the brown wire to the rear 02 pin. Also how come on this link, you say hook the yellow up to the front 02 pin but you dont mention that here?

Now that I think to myself.
Brown is used for gauge reading, keeping the ecu from throwing a code for 02rear (pin 75), and running narrowband sim (only capable with ecmlink)
Only with ecmlink can you plug the yellow into pin 76 (front 02) which is used primarily provide your tuning software a reading.
So without ecmlink you need to keep your old front 02 sensor plugged in correct? My logic is that you need ecmlink to tell the ecu to start reading off of pin 75 so you can use 76 to datalog.
Am I right, or very wrong?:confused:
Also with the db gauge do you wire the yellow or brown wire to the gauge?
 
I need to write a tech article for all the different LC-1 wiring scenarios.

1. Stock narrowband and only logging wideband.
-brown wire (0-5v) to ECU input

2. Stock narrowband, logging wideband, and using a DB gauge.
-split brown wire and run to both ECU input and DB gauge
OR
-brown wire to one end point (ECU or gauge) and run reprogrammed yellow wire (reprogrammed to 0-5v, same as brown) to other end point

3. LC-1 in front o2 spot, not using ECMlink v3
-yellow wire to front o2 input (0-1v narrowband simulation from factory)
-brown wire to ECU (for logging purposes) and/or gauge

4. LC-1 in front o2 spot, using ECMlink v3
-brown wire to any input
-configure narrowband simulation in v3 software to tell the ECU where to look for the wideband signal to make simulation work properly
