I am attempting to install a hks turbo timer in my 98 gst and i have the wiring harness i have juss 1 question my car has a factory security alarm on it and i read some where that i would have to splice into some wire's to get it to work and i was needing some advice if i do or not?I can not find the web site now and it pisses me off but it said some thing about splicing into some wire's to still be able to run the factory alarm if any one can help i would greatly appreciate it alot thank's.

Have you checked HKS for a PnP adapter. I know they have one for 1g, pretty sure they would offer a 2g one as well. Check ebay. I would choose a PnP harness all day long over splicing.

I have installed a HKS T/T in a Miata years back and it was pretty straight forward (I spliced mine, cause I couldnt find a PnP harness) I also didnt have a alarm system in that car. Sorry if this isnt much help.

EDIT:

Found one for ya, and affordable!

I have the plug and play harness thank's for the reply. My question is will my factory alarm still work after installing the turbo timer? Or will i have to splice into my wiring harness?
