So here is my problem and i have done a lot of research but have some questions and need advice. I have a 90 tsi talon with 168000 miles. Rebuilt the head with a 2g head with new valve guides 1mm over sized ferra valves springs and retainers and hks cams with a 16g and arp head studs and new valve seals and top line revised lifters. Since i did this it burns oil when i rev it up and on deceleration right after getting out of the boost. I did a compression test and its 140 through 130 on all 4 cylinders. Could be better but with the miles i dont think this is to bad. My plugs all have a brown color but they are not wet with oil. So it looks like it is burning the same in every cylinder. It runs great other than the burning oil. My mechanical oil pressure gauge reads 32psi at idle when the motor is at 190 degree's and at 70 mph it reads 100 or so. I have the oil feed line for the turbo going to the oil filter housing. I have even put my 14b on thinking the turbo was burning oil. I read about the trimming the spring in the oil relieve passage in the oil filter housing and porting it out. I think because it has so much psi that it is pushing oil through the seals on the turbo. I'm woundering if the increase in psi is because of the 2g head or the new lifters or the oil feed line for the turbo. I have had this line on for a while before i rebuilt the head and never noticed an increase in psi. I dont think its the rings and i have know boost leaks. Thanks for reading and the advice.
