You never know Tim, seems us drag folk tend to ignore aero when it would probably help on the back half of the track. Worth a tenth?

I know that my car has a fatass and it acts like a parachute, that will be taken care of this winter.

Sponsorships? , yeah right.
6's? , maybe if I was a tube-frame funny car on methanol. Won't happen.

I will likely be doing a rear multi-piece splitter/diffuser with a chopped bumper similar to above (and Andrew's design).

Wow hood looks slick in carbon. Did you have the carbon laid over the the fiberglass are is it a uber light carbon only hood?

Just wanted to post about something I just noticed in the March issue of Modified mag this year. A white 2g FF hard top with Drews kit won and broke the record for the Limited FF class at Buttonwillow. They didn't have much in the way of details other than that and it's lap time of 1.55.375 Which was pretty noteable considering there was an Evo X in street class that won it's class with a time of 1.55.810 Sure it's a class lower, but it's also an AWD Evo X! (sure it's heavier too though) Just saying I think thats impressive!

Thing that anoys me though is they have it listed as a 1992 .

Looks like the hood is a fiberglass base with carbon laid on top.

That white 2g was Drew's car. His is the only running car with the kit on at the moment, and the only one to have the hardtop Spyder.

I have a question and a request. I think the placement of the areocatch latches look perfect and im actually picking up a set for my stock hood in white shortly and i am wondering if a cut template could be made for placement for the latch assembly and for the stud that gets placed over the headlight.

and if that would work would anyone be willing to make one for me and send it my way?

Won't work. Hood shapes are different.

It's really not that hard to install aerocatch latches on a stock hood. Measure twice and cut once.
