...wish someone would have mentioned that when I was hanging the invisible shelves through the drywall, I measured once and now the wall looks like swiss cheese. :ohdamn:

Fortunately you can fill holes in the drywall, not so much your hood though.

I think we should start a list of who has the kit. So far I only know of four. AJtheAce, Goblin, TsIAWD, and myself.
 
Rear fenders are on. Now I have to deal with the gas door. I used less fasteners to cut down on weight since I'm using Dzus clips and not rivets to hold them on. Also took a pic to show what the back side of of the dzus fasteners look like when they are locked down.
I'm not going to get much down for a while since I'm about to start making a batch of fendre braces for those that want them.

I went in a few weeks ago and they had only finished final fitment/install of the sideskirts and rear overfenders, bracing the rear bumper cover (so it doesn't flap around), and the fuel door. I only took pictures of the fuel door at the time. They were able to do a pretty nice job and it came out exactly like I'd asked. In this picture some of the edge near the hinge needs to be be sanded for clearance for when the door opens but this is generally what it will look like.

I go in for a status check tomorrow so maybe I'll have something to share after that.

Stopped in yesterday for an update. In just over three weeks they didn't make very much progress unfortunately, so I don't have much to share, but in the interest in keep greengoblin appeased I'll post some pictures. Basically they did the finishing work for the rear fenders and sideskirts and primered them. Some other small work was done but nothing major. I figure people might get a kick out of seeing what the parts look somewhat painted so maybe there's value in these pictures there.

I never liked the idea of using silver hardware on black paint and after having the primer on I'm 100% sure I don't like it as it looks gaudy :) I'll need to look for some black anodized replacements.

Oh and yes, I certainly update on those fender braces when they freaking get on the car. At this pace it's going to be a while...

It's stainless steel. I said "anodized" but what I meant was colored in some way. I wasn't thinking when I wrote it :)

I'll have to look at ARP.

Good luck with making the rear seamless. The fiberglass work for what you describe seems pretty extensive and my body guy agrees. Wasn't something I was going to spend money on when it looks ok to me. We have different criteria though for our cars with mine mainly being a track car that kinda looks good, as opposed to a show/track car that has to run well AND look amazing. I'm sure your car's going to look 10x better than mine in terms of fit and finish.

There will stil be a seam just more flush. I'm lucky enough to know some on who can help with the rear. I'll let you kow how or if it works.

They're the initial wheels/tires I'll be running. They're 18x9.5 +15mm Enkei RPF1 wheels, and the tires are 285/35/18 (I think... maybe they're 285/30/18...) Nitto NT05.

I had to take a ballpark guess at what would work for street tires (I've never run 285/35/18 nt05 tires so I don't know what their real sizing is), my unmodified knuckles, and new body work. Based on what Andrew's running this is what I felt like trying. For the near future this will be the set I'll use while I break in the car.

Seeing them on the car now there doesn't seem to be too much room for wider on the front. Maybe a 295 or 305 if I run more camber. The rear has a lot of room of course, but to keep my life simple and wallet happy I'm not planning on exploring a staggered setup. I figure at some point I'll pick up a different set of wheels and tires just for on-track which may be larger. We'll see how these go. Andrew at this size tire and larger ran into power steering issues and I will probably have to tackle that before working on the next set of wheels/tires.
 
I haven't checked this thread in awhile, but the cars with this kit going on are looking great so far! I really can't wait to see them finished and painted.

It's welded to the metal bumper that's supporting the bumper cover. Worked for Andrew so that's what I did as I didn't see an alternative I liked. I just hope I don't bump into anyone otherwise I'll be adding a mail slot to their rear bumper cover.
