High Downforce eclipse body kit, gauging interest

I almost bought his car last year April when he was having a string of problems. His wife said he couldn't sell it to me for as cheap as he wanted, and he ended keeping the car. It still needs a few more details to be ready for WTAC, but we have 7 months to get the car ready for it. We are hoping for domination, and I think it will be very interesting with Nemo Evo at full power levels even with its new restrictions. Under Suzuki S15 will also be there, so there alone is 3 Andrew Brilliant aero packages in one race. I wouldn't be shocked if there are a couple others too!

It seems every few months some all-star comes in with a link to that hood without reading any of this thread. Before he causes any more confusion amongst the masses I'll shut this down here.

First, pretty sure that company doesn't actually sell that Scoote 2 hood despite it being on their website. Second, if you had read through this thread you would know that while the Scoote 2 hood was the basis for Andrew's original design, the resultant hood is functionally much better:
1) doesn't flex under aero load
2) re-shaped to actually generate downforce
3) isn't bullshit carbon fiber (one layer of cf with tons of fiberglass and resin) if you get the carbon fiber version, and the fiberglass version also doesn't have the now unnecessary skeleton and thus weighs less
4) hood vents are re-shaped to be at more ideal angles for exhaust flow improving heat removal and aerodynamics. Also to be a bit more symmetrical as the originals were way off (though the current vents are exactly symmetrical either)
5) leading edges to the hood vents are raised to create a low pressure zone over the vents themselves, increasing their efficacy.
6) hood is actually a bit longer than the Scoote 2 design, as it's shaped to fit the widebody kit. There's some disagreement over whether it can be massaged to fit a stock body of course but it's still longer.

So if it wasn't clear, the Scoote 2 hood (which is pretty much impossible to buy from anyone these days) is really not the same as Andrew's hood.

Hi everyone! I finally caught up to the present day of this thread and reading everyone's post all I can say is WOW. What a journey it was to be able to read everyone's story and sad that I wasn't old enough to buy one of those kits... At the time of the it being sold was just in kindergarten a 6-year-old now I'm 20 years old I have an Eagle Talon Tsi 97 that I got for my first car back in 2017 for $500. I was wondering where all the owners of the kits are now. I would love to buy one kit from the original creator or one of the few people who actually bought the kit? I know he doesn't want anybody to copy his kit but I was wondering if there was any way I could base my design off of his with your permission or I cant I completely understand.

Bringing this build back to life, Fred.

Carbonetics has the nuts and bolts parts that are loosely based off of this aero kit (call it a body kit and you'll offend someone since it's functional aero). If you don't see the parts orderable in the store just contact them and he can probably show you the pieces from the kit that he builds.
