hi i have a 99 gst spyder and i was just wondering why HID kit won't work on my car it's just the plug and play with no harness...i need help

This is a very common issue. Our headlight connectors are inverted from the standard car. So in lamins terms, our positive is everyone else's negative.

How you should fix it - unplug your HID connector from the factory plug for the light bulb, and flip it, and then plug it in again. If this doesn't work then you have a bad ballistic or a bad bulb.

+1. youve got to FLIP the connector the opposite way that its KEYED to fit at the back of the light.

Hook the positive to the power wire at the light connector, and hook the ground directly to your bumper bar or to the core support.

I didn't want to follow the directions at first either, but for some reason it makes a difference.

my lights right now dim out everytime it's at low rpm but when i rev up it light up brighter, does that mean there isn't enough voltage coming through?
